It's time to redesign the box itself.
The sweetness is the invitation.
Not the message.
The palette changed. The investigation did not. Vivien Kabar was repeatedly asked to paint brighter, more colourful, more accessible works. Instead of abandoning her socially critical themes, she turned those expectations into a means of subversion: colour, humour, sweetness, nostalgia and playful childhood symbols became the invitation through which the viewer approaches the same uncomfortable subjects. The message did not change. The strategy of communicating it changed.
